prathame calilā prabhu,—yena vāyu-gati
stambha-bhāva pathe haila, calite nāhi śakti
Synonyms
prathame—in the beginning; calila—went; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; yena—like; vāyu-gati—the speed of the wind; stambha-bhava—the emotion of being stunned; pathe—on the way; haila—there was; calite—to move; nahi—no; śakti—power. ¶
Translation
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was running with the speed of the wind, but He suddenly became stunned in ecstasy and lost all strength to proceed further. ¶
