govinda-virahe śūnya ha-ila tribhuvana
tuṣānale poḍe,—yena nā yāya jīvana
Synonyms
govinda-virahe—by separation from Govinda; sunya—void; ha-ila—became; tri-bhuvana—the three worlds; tuṣa-anale—in the slow fire; poḍe—burns; yena—just like; na yaya—does not go; jīvana—life. ¶
Translation
“The three worlds have become void because of separation from Govinda. I feel as if I were burning alive in a slow fire. ¶
