dabira khāsere rājā puchila nibhṛte
gosāñira mahimā teṅho lāgila kahite

dabira khāsere—of the name Dabira Khāsa (then the name of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī); raja—the King; puchila—inquired; nibhṛte—in privacy; gosanira—of Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu; mahima—glories; teṅho—he; lagila—began; kahite—to speak. 

Translation

In private, the King inquired from Dabira Khāsa [Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī], who began to speak about the glories of the Lord.
