‘bhavānī-bhartṛ’-śabda dile pāiyā santoṣa
‘viruddha-mati-kṛt’ nāma ei mahā doṣa
Synonyms
bhavani-Bhartrsabda—the word bhavānī-bhartṛ (“the husband of Bhavānī”); dile—you have placed; paiya—getting; santoṣa—very much satisfaction; viruddha-mati-kṛt—a statement of opposing elements; nama—named; ei—this; maha—great; dosa—fault. ¶
Translation
“Here is another great fault. You have arranged the word ‘bhavānī-bhartṛ’ to your great satisfaction, but this betrays the fault of contradiction. ¶
