gajapati rājā śuni’ kīrtana-mahattva
aṭṭālikā caḍi’ dekhe svagaṇa-sahita
Synonyms
gajapati raja—the King of Orissa; suni—hearing; kīrtana-mahattva—the greatness of saṅkīrtana; aṭṭālikā cadi—ascending to the top of the palace; dekhe—sees; svagaṇa-sahita—along with his personal associates. ¶
Translation
Hearing the greatness of the saṅkīrtana, King Pratāparudra went up to the top of his palace and watched the performance with his personal associates. ¶
