dui pāśe sugandhi śītala jala-jhārī
anna-vyañjanopari dila tulasī-mañjarī
Synonyms
dui pase—on two sides; su-gandhi—nicely scented; śītala—cold; jala-jhari—pitchers of water; anna-vyañjana-upari—over the rice and vegetables; dila—placed; tulasi-mañjarī—flowers of tulasī. ¶
Translation
On two sides of the stack of food were pitchers filled with scented cold water. The flowers of the tulasī tree were placed above the mound of rice. ¶
