śuni’ śivānanda-sena premāviṣṭa hañā
daṇḍavat hañā paḍe śloka paḍiyā
Synonyms
suni—hearing; śivānanda-sena—Śivānanda Sena; prema-āviṣṭa hana—becoming absorbed in pure love; daṇḍavat hana—offering obeisances; pade—falls down; śloka—a verse; padiya—reciting. ¶
Translation
Immediately upon hearing this, Śivānanda Sena became absorbed in ecstatic love and fell down on the ground, offering obeisances to the Lord. He then began to recite the following verse. ¶
