śākhā-upaśākhā, tāra nāhika gaṇana
kichu-mātra kahi’ kari dig-daraśana
Synonyms
sakha-upaśākhā—branches and subbranches; tara—of them; nāhika—there is no; ganana—counting; kichu-matra—something about them; kahi—describing; kari—I am simply giving; dig-daraśana—a glimpse of the direction. ¶
Translation
There are multifarious branches and subbranches of Advaita Ācārya. It is very difficult to enumerate them fully. I have simply given a glimpse of the whole trunk and its branches and subbranches. ¶
