mṛgera galā dhari’ prabhu karena rodane
mṛgera pulaka aṅge, aśru nayane
Synonyms
mṛgera—of the deer; gala dhari—catching the necks; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; karena—does; rodane—crying; mṛgera—of the deer; pulaka aṅge—jubilation; asru—tears; nayane—in the eyes. ¶
Translation
The Lord then clasped the necks of the deer and began to cry. There was jubilation manifest in the bodies of the deer, and tears were in their eyes. ¶
