viṁśati vatsara aiche kailā gatāgati
anyonye duṅhāra duṅhā vinā nāhi sthiti
Synonyms
viṁśati—twenty; vatsara—years; aiche—thus; kaila—did; gata-agati—going and coming; anyonye—mutually; duṅhāra—of Lord Caitanya and the devotees; duṅhā—the two; vina—without; nahi—there is not; sthiti—peace. ¶
Translation
For twenty consecutive years this meeting took place, and the situation became so intense that the Lord and the devotees could not be happy without meeting one another. ¶
