ei-mata mahāprabhu dui bhṛtyera vaśe
icchā nāhi, tabu tathā rahilā dina-daśe
Synonyms
ei-mata—in this way; mahāprabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; dui—two; bhṛtyera—by servants; vase—being obliged; icchā nahi—there was no such desire; tabu—still; tatha—there; rahila—remained; dina-dase—for ten days. ¶
Translation
Even though He had not made such a plan, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu remained for ten days at Vārāṇasī, being obligated by the requests of His two servants. ¶
