yadyapi prabhu loka-saṅghaṭṭera trāse
prema ‘gupta’ karena, bāhire nā prakāśe
Synonyms
yadyapi—although; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; loka-saṅghaṭṭera—of crowds of people; trāse—being afraid; prema—ecstasy; gupta karena—keeps hidden; bāhire—externally; na—does not; prakāśe—manifest. ¶
Translation
The Lord did not always manifest His ecstasy. Being afraid of a great assembly of people, the Lord kept His ecstasy concealed. ¶
