avatāra haya kṛṣṇera ṣaḍ-vidha prakāra
puruṣāvatāra eka, līlāvatāra āra

Synonyms

avatāra—incarnations; haya—there are; kṛṣṇera—of Lord Kṛṣṇa; sat-vidha prakara—six kinds; purusa-avatāra—incarnations of Viṣṇu; eka—one; lila-avatāra—incarnations for the execution of pastimes; ara—also. 

Translation

“There are six types of incarnations [avatāras] of Kṛṣṇa. One is the incarnations of Viṣṇu [puruṣa-avatāras], and another is the incarnations meant for the performance of pastimes [līlā-avatāras].
