sanātana jānila ei prabhure nā bhāya
bhoṭa tyāga karibāre cintilā upāya
Synonyms
sanātana janila—Sanātana Gosvāmī could understand; ei—this; prabhure—by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; na bhaya—is not approved; bhoṭa—the woolen blanket; tyāga—giving up; karibāre—to do; cintila—considered; upāya—a means. ¶
Translation
Because Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was repeatedly glancing at this valuable woolen blanket, Sanātana Gosvāmī could understand that the Lord did not approve of it. He then began to consider a way to give it up. ¶
