nija kṛta dui śloka likhiyā tāla-pāte
‘prabhuke diha’ bali’ dila jagadānanda-hāte

nija—by him; krta—composed; dui—two; śloka—verses; likhiyā—writing; tala-pate—on a leaf of a palm tree; prabhuke diha—give to Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; bali—saying this; dila—gave it; jagadānanda-hate—in the hands of Jagadānanda. ¶
Translation
Sārvabhauma Bhaṭṭācārya then composed two verses on the leaf of a palm tree. Giving the palm leaf to Jagadānanda Prabhu, the Bhaṭṭācārya requested him to deliver it to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. ¶
