“gosāñi, prayāṇa-patha chāḍi’ kene āilā
tomā dekhi’ mora lakṣya mṛga palāilā”
Synonyms
gosāñi—O great saintly person; prayāṇa-patha chadi—leaving aside the general path; kene—why; aila—have you come; toma dekhi—seeing you; mora lakṣya—my targets; mṛga—the animals; palaila—fled. ¶ comment
Translation
“The hunter addressed Nārada Muni: ‘O gosvāmī! O great saintly person! Why have you left the general path through the forest to come to me? Simply by seeing you, all the animals I was hunting have now fled.' ¶ comment
